Find Your Perfect Fit with the Hyundai Kona

The Hyundai Kona has a lot going for it. Its small enough to be easily maneuvered around crowded streets but also spacious enough to be practical. With adaptive cruise control joining the list of available options, the Kona has more to offer drivers in Erie than ever before.

You have two engine options for the Kona. Standard is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that will generate 147 horsepower. This works great with the standard six-speed automatic transmission. Also available is a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder that will give you 175 horsepower. Paired to this engine is a dual-clutch seven-speed automatic transmission. While front-wheel-drive is standard, all-wheel-drive is available as well. Going with all-wheel drive also means getting an upgraded rear suspension.

Here at Dave Hallman Hyundai, we love the fact that the Kona comes loaded with so many standard driver assistance features. Any model you choose will give you forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, a rearview camera, and a very useful driver attention monitor. Available on certain trims are even more features, such as automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection, rear parking sensors, and a blind spot monitor featuring rear cross-traffic alert.

All five trim levels of the Hyundai Kona have the tech features people here in Fairview and Edinboro are after. Standard in most trims is a seven-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and two USB ports. The top-of-the-line Ultimate gets an eight-inch touchscreen instead. Also standard is a six-speaker audio system. From the SEL trim level and up, you also get satellite radio, HD radio, and push-button start.

As for the SEL Plus, this trim level will upgrade your Kona to an eight-speaker premium sound system. It also adds a wireless charging pad. Going all the way up to the Ultimate trim means getting standard navigation and a handy head's up display. This feature projects important information directly into the driver's line of sight, allowing them to see it without taking their eyes off of the road. We encourage North East and McKean customers to contact us for directions and to learn more about our new inventory.
